About The Therapy Hideout
Our Mission
The mission of The Therapy Hideout is to help kids do better every day, by doing our best every day.
Who We Are
The Therapy Hideout began as an idea in 2011 when owner Jeff Weiler graduated with his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy degree. “Mr. Jeff” (as he is known to his kiddos) always liked the idea of doing occupational therapy his way, using his own style backed by scientific evidence and doing something different than the run of the mill treatment sessions and approaches that are usually offered to kids and their families. Over the years, Mr. Jeff developed this style by working with kids in early intervention, outpatient programs, in-district and out of district schools, pediatric burns, hematology/oncology, NICU, PICU, and pediatric medical floors. At The Therapy Hideout, we use a combination of evidence based treatment approaches to help kids reach their full potential. We believe that there are no obstacles too large to overcome and that families are both an invaluable resource to their child’s OT intervention as well as their child’s most important advocate. We believe that open and honest communication between you and your child’s therapist is key to your child’s success, and that the opportunity to have therapy services in your child’s natural environment helps them carry over their skills throughout their day to day life. With years of experience under his belt and numerous clients served, Mr. Jeff is proud to offer private, home-based OT sessions and to have your family join The Therapy Hideout.
